St. Thomas Trip

This summer I traveled all over in celebration of my graduation from Howard University.

My first trip was to St.Thomas, the home of one of my best friends. If you've never experienced the U.S. Virgin Islands, I suggest you add it to your list. It is one of the most beautiful places in the world, with the culture, food, people and the beautiful water. The bonus to traveling to the Virgin Islands is that you don't need your passport to go, because they are in the U.S. territory.

I had been to St.Thomas before, but this trip was just me and my girls living it up in the sun for 8 days. We stayed on a beautiful golf course property high up on the hills of the island. There was such an amazing view from our balcony, that you could sit there peacefully all day.

One of my favorite things about this trip besides of course releasing my inner mermaid, was being able to go out to The British Virgin Island of Jost Van Dyke and spending the day jumping off our boat at White Bay. The water was a beautiful turquoise blue and you can see right to the bottom where the white soft sand lies. St. Thomas has some of the most renowned beaches in the world. We had the chance to catch some sun at Megans Bay and Coki Beach. They were both amazing and we were able to get fresh coconuts right on the beach. The island lifestyle is definitely for me and I'll be going back soon.
