Solo NYC Travel Guide

Sometimes you have to travel on your by yourself and while for some it can be scary, solo traveling allows you to travel on your own terms. Recently, I traveled to New York City, one of my favorite places for 24 hours alone. Here is a guide of all the places I experienced during my stay from where I stayed to where I ate and everything in between.

Where to Stay: Yotel

I have visited NYC many times before and this time I fell in love with the futuristic hotel I booked, Yotel. I stayed in a solo pod which was small but comfortable for me. This is a very affordable option for solo travel in the city.

Where to Eat:

Brunch - LRoom Cafe

This a floral inspired brunch haven for those who love aesthetically pleasing food, drinks and atmospheres. The LRoom Cafe also doubles as a flower shop. I stopped in for a quick bite during my short trip. I ordered the Rose Lychee Ade which was a sparkling soda which fruit infusions and floral decor. I also ordered their classic egg waffle which spherical egg-based waffle with powdered sugar on top. Both were absolutely delicious. I would definitely come back and sit down for brunch to have the true experience and try some other menu options.

Where To Shop: SOHO

Whenever I’m in New York I love to shop and walk around the SOHO district. I went to Glossier, Brand Melville, Levi’s Store, and some fun boutiques. One of my favorite places to shop is the go-to jewelry store, New Top Jewelry. They have an amazing array of quality gold jewelry. I have purchased from them before and can attest to their customer service and quality. I just recently purchased a custom gold name necklace from them that I love. If you're looking for some great jewelry gold, chains, pendants, earrings I would 100 percent recommend New Top Jewelry. You can check out some of their work on their Instagram @janes8103.
